Wikipedia Naturism
Naturism (from the Latin natura - "nature") is a way of life in harmony with nature, characterized by the practice of nudity in community, with the goal of developing respect for oneself, other people and nature [1]. Naturists themselves position it as a philosophy of life in harmony with nature. The word "naturism" is included in the names of international organizations, such as the International Naturist Federation (INF), which operates under the auspices of UNESCO.
Naturism is often identified with nudism (from the Latin nudus "naked"), since the most noticeable attribute of naturism is the absence of clothing. This term is often used in dictionaries and literature as a synonym for the concept of "naturism" [2], but the participants of the movement themselves draw a line between them: the actions of nudists do not have any general philosophy justifying nudity; most nudists are driven only by the feeling of comfort that comes with being freed from clothing [3].
One of the most striking elements of naturism is the joint recreation of men and women without bathing suits on special nudist beaches. However, other types of "naked" activity are also practiced, such as hiking, sports, festivals, and visiting saunas. The key points are the participation of both sexes and the prohibition of any actions of a sexual nature. The subculture of nudism is popular in some countries, especially in Western Europe; there are relatively few adherents in Russia. There is no consensus public opinion on the benefits or harms of naturism yet.
